Fort Worth Roofing Installation

Let our experienced roofers turn your old roof into a roof of function and beauty. Barrington One Construction, LLC installers inspect your roofing for any signs of damaged areas that may result from prior leaking before we install new shingles. All decking and flashing are checked and, if needed, be replaced. Your roof is a major investment and the installation is what makes the roof last for the entire life of the shingle.

Roofing Facts

Problems caused by bad workmanship include; shingles that were not overhanging the edge of the eave enough to allow water to exit the roof to the gutter, this mistake is the most damaging and the easiest to prevent, if the shingles do not overhang 1/2 “ the exiting water will actually go straight to the wood in your eave causing rotten trim and soffit damage, especially with homes with short overhangs, the damage to your structural components of the home will cause havoc that is almost impossible to repair.

Shingles that are nailed too deep and sometimes nailed right through the shingle are caused by installers not setting the depth of the nail gun correctly it is seen mostly on homes with missing or loose shingles.

Flashing is as important as or more important than the shingle itself because it is difficult to reach and correct after installation. Even when old shingles are removed, some flashing is difficult to achieve due to small spaces in which to work. This is why some Fort Worth roofers just leave the flashing as is and install shingles to complete the job, and most often, the problem will not surface before their labor warranty runs out

Colleyville, Texas

The first significant settlement of Colleyville began in the 1850s. Samuel C.H. Witten came to Texas from Missouri in 1854 and established a farm along Little Bear Creek. He became one of the founders of the Spring Garden community, which flourished in the 1860s around a well-known school, finally declining in the 1870s as Bedford rose to prominence. Other settlers from the upper South included Jonathan A. Riley, who came from Kentucky in 1856 and settled near the Spring Garden community; the Kentucky-born adventurer and Civil War veteran Ryan Harrington, who bought land in 1865 near the community of Pleasant Glade; and William B. Cheek, who migrated to northeast Tarrant County from Kentucky in 1869, eventually settling near Ryan Harrington’s property.
