Solid Buildings
The frame of a building is just that—the structure that everything else is built onto. While other materials are added after the fact, the frame itself still has to be solid and durable, not to mention accurately interpret the design.
We adhere to laying out walls and the roof per the plans. We use very straight lumber on interior exposed rafters and joists, and we always check for crowns; all of the other lumber is dead wood, which is needed on wood for bracing. The final product is sound and tight plates; we double-check the wall plumb two days after installation because wood moves!
